This is actually insane. Girl was supposed to get her disbursement in early June and it's now way past that with no explanation. She needed that money for actual rent and her car payment, not luxuries. Colleges claim they're "scrambling" to figure out the new rules but that's just code for they don't care enough to make it work before students start losing housing. If you're going back to school or thinking about it, DO NOT count on loan money arriving when they say it will. Have a backup plan for your first semester costs because the system is clearly broken right now.
