Parents becoming the healthcare workforce - this is real

Let me tell you, when I read about Kris and Matthew having to become medical technicians just to bring their daughter home, it hit different. These parents aren't choosing to be nurses and specialists, they're being forced into it because we've got a massive gap in home care workers, and honestly, states are counting on families to fill it. Here's what matters for us going back to school: if you're a parent with a medically complex kid, you might not have the choice to pursue training or education because you're already doing the work of a healthcare professional at home. The system is leaning on parents' shoulders instead of building real solutions, and that affects every single one of us trying to move forward with our own dreams. I'm not saying this to scare anybody, but to be real about what some families are navigating while the rest of us are hitting the books.
