I got burned applying to a program that didn't take federal aid and wasted months figuring that out. Nobody tells you upfront that not every school participates in Title IV. Rubicon literally has a filter for FAFSA eligible programs which would have saved me that headache if I'd known about it earlier. If you're starting from scratch definitely use that filter first before you fall down the same rabbit hole I did.
