saw this and got frustrated because it's exactly what's happening right now. schools are racing to slap AI certificates on programs so they look current, but the article straight up says there's no evidence these actually prepare students for real work. this matters for us because if you're going back to school betting on these programs to make you hireable, you might be wasting time and money. better to ask hard questions about what employers actually want before you sign up for anything. demand syllabi, ask about placement rates, talk to recent grads who took it.
