FAFSA tips I wish someone had told me before I started

just got my fafsa done and man i messed up the first round. lost some money because i didn't catch my mistakes in time. figure i should share what i did wrong so maybe you don't do the same thing. what's something you wish somebody told you before you started filling yours out?
