Anyone switch to medical billing and coding

I've been hearing the same thing about medical billing and coding. The training programs are way shorter than a lot of other careers, which is honestly appealing when you're trying to get back into work quickly. The pay seems solid too from what people tell me, but I'm curious what the actual day to day is like. Has anyone on here actually switched into it? I want to know if it's as good as it sounds or if there are downsides people don't mention.
