This hit me hard - nurses can't even finish their degrees

I know this sounds silly but reading about Yesenia having to post on Facebook groups just to find someone to mentor her through grad school made me actually tear up a little. She's trying to become a better nurse and the system is literally failing her because there aren't enough experienced nurses willing or able to take students under their wing. Maybe someone else feels this way too, but it seems crazy that we say we need more nurses and then make it almost impossible for motivated people like her to finish their training. I think about all the women going back to school while juggling everything else and then hitting this invisible wall where the resources just don't exist, and it breaks my heart because these are people who genuinely want to help others. We need to be talking about this way more because it's not about one person's bad luck, it's about a whole system that's cracking under pressure and leaving people stranded.
