Trade school vs community college which is faster to a good job

I've actually looked into both paths since I was stuck between similar options. HVAC trade school is usually faster, like 6 months to 2 years depending on the program, and you can start making decent money pretty quick once you're certified. Nursing through community college takes about 2 years for your associates degree, then you need to pass your licensing exam, so it's a bit longer before you're fully working. Both have pretty solid job security and decent pay, but if you need income soon, the trade route gets you there faster. That said, nursing typically pays more once you're established, so it depends if you want money sooner or better long term.
