Has anyone actually gotten the Pell Grant after 40

I keep reading about the Pell Grant but honestly I feel like those things are for younger people just out of high school. I am 43 and want to go back for my associates but I do not even know if I would qualify. Has anyone here actually gotten it at our age? What was the process like?
