LaGuardia's New Hub for Immigrant Students is Everything

Let me tell you, when I was figuring out how to go back to school, I felt so alone in it, and I didn't even have half the obstacles some folks are carrying. Reading that LaGuardia opened an office connecting immigrant students with legal, financial, and academic support just hits different because it says "we see you, we got you" in a way that matters so much. For women especially, juggling school with everything else plus navigating immigration concerns is a whole other level of heavy, so having one place to turn to for real help instead of bouncing around lost is huge. This is the kind of infrastructure that actually changes lives because it removes barriers instead of just talking about removing them. I'm genuinely hopeful seeing a school step up like this, and I hope other colleges are paying attention.
