This hit me hard. Higher ed is collapsing and we're caught in it

I just read about whole college campuses sitting empty and it made me think about all of us here who went back to school hoping for a better life. My mom is finishing her degree at 52 and we're both terrified about what happens if her school closes or programs get cut. The article talks about how widespread this damage is, and I realized nobody's really talking about how this affects women trying to restart their careers or get out of dead-end situations. If you're considering going back, look hard at whether your school is stable, check their enrollment numbers online, and talk to current students about what's actually happening on campus. We deserve schools that are going to be there for us.
