Has anyone else struggled to find grad school loans for healthcare programs?

I know this sounds silly but I got really emotional reading this story about Mitzie and other grad students who can't access loans for health care degrees. I've been thinking about going back for my master's in nursing and the financial barriers are honestly terrifying, so seeing that I'm not alone in this worry actually helped a little. Maybe someone else feels this way too and is wondering if grad school is even possible without going into massive debt or giving up entirely. What struck me most is that these are people trying to enter fields that help others, and the system isn't making it easier for them to do that work. I'm still figuring out my own path forward but articles like this remind me to keep asking questions and looking for solutions instead of just assuming it won't work out.
