Grad school loans for health care degrees are getting harder to find

I just read that a lot of grad students trying to get into health care fields are hitting a wall when it comes to loans. In my experience, when funding gets tight, it's often women and people from lower income backgrounds who feel it first, especially if they're trying to go back to school or switch careers. I found that this matters because occupational therapy, nursing, and other health care jobs are fields where we need more people, and when talented students like Mitzie can't afford grad school, we all lose. If you're thinking about going back for a degree in health care, this is worth knowing about now so you can plan ahead. Has anyone else dealt with loan issues for grad programs?
