State grants that do not get talked about enough

So real talk, the Pell Grant is what everyone knows about but honestly my state grant was way easier to get because fewer people even knew it existed. I'm talking like actually getting the money without fighting a million other applicants. The local stuff is where it's at if you dig around your state's higher ed website or even just call your community college and ask them straight up. There's definitely cash sitting there that nobody talks about because they're all too busy chasing the same federal programs everyone else is.
